As a public charter school, The Winter Sports School receives considerably less funding per student than the public school district. To achieve our ambitious educational goals for students and our school, Winter Sports School relies on private contributions to supplement these public funds. Your donations are 100% tax-deductible and directly support innovation in teaching and learning, teacher compensation and professional development, facility improvements, and flexible educational technology, among other initiatives.

The Winter Sports School is “Reaching New Peaks” with an exciting
school expansion. Beginning in the fall of 2023, the school hopes to embark
on a $3.3-million-dollar new building to the campus.

Gifts to the WSS Annual Fund directly support our students and teachers in advancing the quality of their experience at our school. This year we seek to raise $125,000 for this operational support with 100% current family participation. Help us meet the needs of our extraordinary student-athletes in this extraordinary time. We have our eyes on 2034, and your gift to the Annual Fund helps fuel the dreams of our student-athletes, supporting their pursuit of excellence and their preparation for a successful, rewarding future as #competitorsforlife.

$50 – Supports supplies for one hands-on Chemistry lab
$100 – Supports annual cost of classroom digital learning tool such as NoRedInk for 10 students
$500 – Supports purchase of literature books for all students in one English class
$1000 – Supports a cost-of-living salary increase for one teacher
$2500 – Supports cost of replacement of five student-used Chromebooks
$5000 – Supports updating instructional textbooks/etexts for two courses
